Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, DVPR will not be taking in or adopting out any more pugs until further notice, unless there is an emergency situation. Stay safe, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Welcome to our new website! We hope you like it here. Take a look around – you'll find plenty of ways you can help our efforts, a list of upcoming events, and of course photos and bios of adoptable rescue pugs. While we have a new and improved look, our mission to help pugs in need will never change.
Follow us on our new social media pages for daily updates and adorable photos. We post on our Instagram every day to give pug lovers like you a daily dose of pug. Our Facebook page is where you can find updates on the progress of our rescues, callouts when we are in need of volunteers or donations, and all of our upcoming events and meetups for the next year. Twitter is a fun space for short video clips, funny anecdotes, and quick updates.
All events have been canceled or postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
About our rescue
The Delaware Valley Pug Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization. DVPR is a small rescue with big hopes for pugs in need. We believe that all animals deserve a safe, loving furever home, so we are trying to do our part with a breed that is close to our hearts. Many of our volunteers have been actively rescuing pugs for more than 10 years.
